Teacher Heart....

Well it is that time of year again...here in the Highlands we break up for the school hols on Thursday......I am a dinner-lady so I get the holidays too!!
A little gift for the teachers is required so I have  made this little heart using some school style papers....the papers I have used are not available but you can get some lovely ones here...
I used Lawn Fawns Violets ABCs to stamp the sentiment and then added some flowers and a cute wee apple charm to finish off!
I hope you like!

I'm so Jelly ....

DieNamics Blueprints 24.
Papers- Bildmalarna An ocean with strawberries.
Hi everyone!!

I'm back with another Lawn Fawn So Jelly stamp set make again! these little sets are not only a fabulous price but a ridiculous amount of fun to play with!!

I used one of my MME coastal card blanks for this one and then some papers that are just so prefect for casual under the sea-ness, Bildmalarna An ocean with strawberries.

I also just had to get in using my DieNamics Blueprints 24  set...... again!! but it just makes rectangle cards soooo easy to make up and the little confetti dies that come in the set are just perfect for splodging around your card. Did you know that there are some sketches for you to use with the Blueprints sets too? you can find them all HERE.

Thank you for popping in, hugs Lou xxx

Over the Threshold

Hi Everyone, it's Faye here today :)

This summer, I am going to two weddings. I'm excited to be dusting off my party shoes, but, I was not so excited about making the two cards! I find wedding cards a struggle.

Or rather, normally I do. This card is for the second wedding, so I am feeling super smug, as it's over a month away, and I'm ready. But, Over the Threshold, is such a fab and perfect likeness of the couple in question, it made the whole card, simples!

Ellie Says Hi... Again!

Hi Everyone, it's Faye here today :)

You might remember Ellie. In Pencil. I put her on an Easel Card a few weeks ago. I wasn't keen on it, so I pulled her off, and made a page for her in my ATC Journal. It had to be, as I only had a sliver of this gorgeous Lawn Fawn Paper left. And I nearly cried when I stamped the 'Hey' sentiment on upside down! Luckily, I was able to switch up my design, and the booboo is now under Ellie's head Phew!

Cherry Blossom

Good morning!! Linda here to share some Friday inspiration with you.

I made a card using an older Saturated Canary image from Little Darlings Rubber Stamps.

I've linked the items used at the end of my post.

This is Cherry Blossom, isn't she pretty?

Tracy has this stamp on sale, so if you want to pick up a bargain go snap it up while she still has stock left!

I coloured her up with my Distress Ink markers (and one Spectrum Aquatint marker) to match these pretty Pion papers.

Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose
Hair: Slate (SA), Black Soot
Clothing & Background: Bundled Sage, Slate (SA), Tattered Rose, Abandoned Coral, Gathered Twigs
I didn't stitch my layers this time because I did a lot of distressing on my papers, I really like the way it turned out.

Theodore

Hi Everyone, it's Faye here today :)

So, it's Father's Day next weekend. Eeek! Yesterday afternoon, I suddenly realised I needed a card. Not because it's Father's Day next weekend. But, because I realised I had nothing to share with you this weekend! (Insert rude word here.) Yep. Eeek! Again.

Do you have an image you reach for when you need to make something quick? I do. And for me, it's anything Bear. Bear. Not bare. I love colouring fur. I love the mess of it. And I love that I can just smoosh some ink about, and the messier I am, the furrier the bear looks. Perfecto. Honestly, it's just what I need if I'm being quick. Yesterday, I was being quick, so I chose Little Miss Muffet Stamps Theodore. Quick. And cute. Love it!

Skinny Mini!

Hi everyone! Linda here. I really should have posted this last Friday, but after coming back from holiday with a nasty cold virus I just lost all my mojo at the start of last week. Felt much better at the weekend so I whipped up this.

This was such a fun little project, I found the inspiration for this from Ginger at My Sisters Scrapper and she linked to a tutorial she followed from Papercrafter 45 and that's what I mostly followed to make this. However the original mini measured 8.5 inches long and I really wanted to use up some of my 6 x 6 papers, so I adjusted the length. So I guess it's a short skinny mini :)

One thing I really loved about this project is that it doesn't use chipboard. I like chipboard but I hate wrapping it, plus not everyone has chipboard to hand or wants to buy it just to try a project, so this is a nice one to try because you can just use the kind of stuff you use on your cards.

Anyway, this is what it turned out like.

It's really difficult to photograph these, so I made a short video to show you the pages a little better.

If you want to see the video and find a link to a tutorial on how to make this just visit my blog

I used Miss Teagen Sue from Bazill Basics. I've had this collection for a while and I've made a couple of cards with it so I really wanted to use it up. This project was perfect for that as it doesn't take as much as a regular mini album.  I was a little short on pages though, so I did supplement with half a 12 x 12 page of Bo Bunny Double Dot paper, but as I say I had already made 2 cards with the pack previously.

If you wanted to you could make this mini with A4 card, but you would need to cut the measurements for the width down by a smidge, (a bit more complicated then cutting the length down due to all the folds and the scoring) but I used A3 card so was able to do the full width.

I edged everything with Walnut Stain distress ink.

That's all from me today but I hope you feel inspired to make one of these yourself, they really are tons of fun.

Spring Fawn.....

Morning all!

Lou is with a post for you today using one of the stunning new Saturated Canary clear stamps. Oh my!! I love this so much!!

Stamped in memento black tuxedo ink and coloured up with my promarkers, then uber fun with my Blueprints 3 die set ( still one of my absolute tops, everything you need in that one for so many different combos!! love it!!).

And I even used a few sheets of the very stroke only MME record it Pretty Things 6x6 pad.

Thank you for popping in

My Super Boy

Hi Everyone, it's Faye here today.

Can you tell Father's Day is on my mind a little? I think we all know a Super Hero, don't we, so this card is a perfect way to celebrate him. Plus, I got to use my new Die-Namics Lucky Star Dies. Bonus! This little chap is part of a Tiddly Inks Stamp Set, so, you can have plenty of boy mischief with it. And don't get me started on how droolworthy these Lawn Fawn Papers are. Nuff said!

Toni Heart Balloon

Hi Everyone, it's Faye here today, and I'm feeling all pink and squishy...

This is an image from Make it Crafty called Toni Heart Balloon and she suited my mood perfectly, along with an image from my fave Paper Smooches Set, Sentiment Sampler. I use these stamps soooooo much! The gorgeous spotty paper comes from the Carta Bella Sew Lovely Paper Pad. I have serious issues cutting the papers in this pad. To finish off, I wanted to frame the image, but I didn't want to doodle, so I used another of my Go To Products, Die-Namics Pierced Rectangle Stax. And that, my friends, is job done!

Wish............

What a rotten day here in the Highlands....wet and grey!.....I want Summer!!!
I have a lovely clean and simple card again........main reason being I have about a 6inch squared space on my desk to work at, so as soon as I have finished this post I am off to tidy up!
This lovely die is from Die-Versions and I have cut it from a lovely salmony coloured piece of cardstock....the Wish sentiment is from Impression Obsession and I have added it to a panel cut using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangles and then added a few wee tiny roses to finish.....I am thinking I may go back and add a bit of sparkle!
