Red Riding Hood

Good evening! I'm very late with my post today as my daughter has been visiting and we've been spending mother daughter time together until she went home today (and I'm missing her already). So it was a big rush to get this ready in time.

Luckily I already had the image coloured as I was practicing my pencil work.  I have to admit that while I'm happy with my colouring I will redo the image as the paper (which was one of several I bought to try out, ended up being far too soft for this technique and as you can see the paper started coming away and 'splitting' a little. Which doesn't look tooooo bad on the cloak as it looks a little like velvet, but I'm not happy with it so I will redo and replace the image on the card later.

I went for a slightly darker look here, some of the Brother's Grimm tales are quite gruesome, so I added in some black and the clock? well I kept remembering that old school playground game 'What's the Time Mr Wolf' lol.

I used the following products:

Well that's it from me today, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! :) xx

Grandad...

Die- Namics layered hearts.
Afternoon all.

Thought I would quickly pop in today and share the little flowered heart I made for Scott's Grandad funeral on monday.

Nanna had asked that we didn't go overboard with expensive floral arrangements so we bought a beautiful bouquet but I still wanted it to be a little more special for Grandad because he was such a wonderful man. So quiet and gentle and very very loved.

So I did it the only way I know how, I made something. I cut some flowers in happy colours and added them to a hearts base. Then once they were all on, I glued on my vine and added my Grandad along the middle.

Here it is on the bouquet.

Thank you for popping in

Card tutorial- Surprise pop up card.
Morning all!!!

how does monday always squiggle round so fast?!! but I am not complaining this week as its half term break so I have my lil guy at home with me all week and I love that.
He is having a pj morning this morning and relaxing with a bit of tv so thought I would pop in with my make for this week while he is busy.

I was in the mood for some fun with this make so hit one of my fav places for a fun tutorial and had a play with the surprise pop up card. I love doing things that are a bit different!
Here it is all open with cute as a cupcake just peeking out to see you all!!! I LOVE this!!

Here's a piccy of the whole thing so you can see where the slider goes! isn't it a fun card?!

I used the hearts on a string border to go along the top and the sentiments are just fabulous again! I used one with my little lady and then one for the front of the card when it is closed!
Thank you for popping in

Spring Bringer

Good morning everyone it's Ann-Marie popping in today to share some crafty love with you all and today I thought I would bring a little bit of spring with me in the hope that it's soon around the corner.

I inked up an older Whimsy Stamps Wee image 'Spring Bringer' but she is still one of my all time favourites.  I coloured her up to compliment the oh so gorgeous Echo Park For the Record 2 'Tailored' papers which are actually on offer at the moment too over in the store.  I decided to mat them onto black card stock just to make the colours pop.

That's all from me today, thank you for dropping in and I hope you enjoy the remainder of your weekend.

Gulity of love in the first degree!!

Hi everyone!!

Lou in with a make for you all this morning and I just had to get one of those stunning new Tiddly Inks release stamps inked up for you all!!

I can't help myself with this release! I just love every single one of them!! this one is called 'Guilty of love in the first degree' (...yup...I have been singing that bananarama song ever since I wrote it too!! he he he!!!)

Christy is so clever when she puts these sets together. She has the cutest little trio of hearts in the stamp set that is just curved so perfectly for going around a circle die cut! its a dream!!! and it makes such a gorgeous little edge detail too.

I tried to colour her up with a bit of a smokey flash background so it looks like she is having one of those police photo's taken after being arrested!! then the little film strip die cuts worked just pefrectly and the sentiment speaks for itself for the theme!! I LOVE IT!!!!!

Thank you for popping in

I want to share with you a card I have made using an adorable image from The Greeting Farm 'Together Anywhere' rubber stamp set and my sentiment is also part of the set and some beautiful designer papers from My Mind's Eye Record It called 'Charmed'.  I coloured her up using copics to compliment the papers and kept it fairly simple by just adding a few flowers and some leaves cut using Die-namics 'Royal Leaves' die set.
