Santa Louis..........

Stamp- Santa Louis.
Hi everyone!!

Its Lou in with a post for you today. I am a squidge later than normal today..bad me! lol!! I didn't get my little tag quite finished before I went to work last night and then when I got home at 7:10am this morning I had to rush straight up to get a quick nap in as its holiday time and little Mo is not at school (....today is mostly being sponsored by espresso...!!!!).

In between being taught how to play Minecraft, making cinder toffee and playing with the dogs I have finally managed to get a piccy taken and write a bloggy post!!

Oh my...I am so in love with this little Stamping bella stamp. Mo Manning always knows howto capture magic in her stamps and this one just reminded me so much of my little guy and our 2 dogs that I just had to pop it in my shopping cart!

I cut the tag and stamped him just a little off to the side to get the nose of the pooch in, its too cute to miss out!!

The little stars are cut out with the off cuts of my Basic Grey Aspen paper from last week, there were a couple of oddments just sitting near my ebosser when I went to cut the stars out and I decided the blue tones would match his little dungarees.

I can't wait to get Little Mo's christmas present wrapped and pop his tag on, he will love it!

Right, time for more coffee....I look like a zombie today...I am going to take really good notice of the Minecraft playing going on by laying on the settee next to Mo...its purely just to watch and learn...no snoozing will be happening after 2 seconds......bwah ha ha ha!!!

Paper Doll Marci - Winter

Happy Friday everyone, it's Linda here on the last Friday before Christmas wheeeeeee!!

Today I'm sharing one of my last Christmas cards for the year, very soon I'll be switching to other stuff like Valentine's day and Spring cards.  I made this card for a friend who's a lover of all things slightly quirky, and I really think this stamp from La-La Land fits the bill. As usual links to products are at the end of the post.

I stamped my image with Versafine ink and coloured Marci in Distress Inks
You can find the colours used over on my blog

All papers were edged with Walnut Stain Distress Ink and hand stitched. I added lashings of Gesso to the finished creation

I tucked a little snowflake charm under the bow. The little mittens, hats and sock are a small die set from Whimsy called 'Bundled Up'.  I couldn't find it in the store, but I'm sure Tracy would order it for you if you asked her nicely.

Well that's all from me today, I'm having a little break for 2 weeks for the Christmas hols, so I wish every one of you a merry Christmas and a wonderful new year!:) xx

Yvonne...........

So have you ever made a card and it turns out a complete disaster?  Happened to me yesterday....trying to do to many things at the same time and it just all went wrong....in the bin it went and now the light has faded soooo badly that my photos are rubbish so I can only apologize...
I have used Yvonne for  my card from LDRS's Saturated Canary Range.....coloured with pencils and then mounted onto a fancy die and a piece of ribbon to finish!

Whimsy Simply Sentiments

I think I may have gremlins in my house today.....laptop not working, living room lamp not working...hoover making a strange sound!
I am attempting to write this post on my Ipad so heres hoping it works!
I have used Whimsy Stamps Simply Sentiments for my clean and simple cards...nice and quick to if you are ever in a rush for a card....or is that just me?
Please excuse the photo....I normally edit my pics on my laptop...I could cry, really hoping hubster can fix it!  I mounted each panel onto coloured card and added that to my card on foam pads and added a wee gem to each one.
