Mimo Sailor Boy....

coloured with promarkers.
Morning everyone!!
I hope you have all had a wonderful weekend.

My make for you all today features the super cute new little Sailor Boy from Bildmalarna, I just had to buy him as soon as I saw him. I just love him.

I coloured him up with my promarkers and then mounted him on some kraft card and then it was time to play with those stroke only 'An Ocean of Strawberries' Bildmalarna papers, they are just wonderful. I chose a couple of the beach themed ones, mounted them on kraft too and added them to my little gable end box with some gardeners tape, twine and the cutest lifesaver charm ever ( ...that I can't find in the shop to link for you..sob sob!!!)

Well, thats me for today! have a lovely day
huge hugs Lou xxx

A Day in May - Just for You

Hello Everyone
I hope you are well and having a good weekend.

For my card today I decided to showcase some Pion papers from the stunning A Day in May collection. The colours and designs on these papers are so beautiful and delicate. The gorgeous vintage image, butterflies and tag are cut from the same papers.
I have used the Whimsy Lace Doily Corner die,  which I cut 4 times and joined to create a pretty doily effect.

Thank you for stopping by to look at my card today.
Bye for now

Hey lovelies,  Happy Friday. Jen here with a little inspiration. This time I have used Daphne. Isn't she just such a cute image.

I used copics to colour her up, to match the new yummy Coffee in the Arbour paper from Maja. I machine sewn the papers and distressed the edges with Walnut stain ink.

Thanks for popping in. Hope you have a great day all xxx

Tilly Mint

Hi lovely peeps.
Dawny P
here and a happy Thursday to everyone : )

The weekend is so close you can smell it – one more day to go, wooohooooo!!

It’s my turn to host today and I’ve gone with a colour theme that is one of my all time faves and that is red, white and black and ……

… here’s my card.

The image I’ve used today is a Little Darlings Saturated Canary image and this one is Tilly

I coloured her with the following Copics -

Skin – E000, E00, E11, E13., R00, R02

Hair – C00, C0, C4, C5, C7, C10

The rest – C00, C0, C3, C4, C5, R02, R17, R27, R57

I also outlined the image with Glamour Dust – I like to do this because I think it really does make the image ‘pop’.

These GORGEOUS papers are Fancy Pants - The Good Life and I inked the edges with  Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad - Walnut Stain

I used a couple of Cheery Lynn Dies - Francesca Border ….

... and the beautimous French Pastry Doily Die which you can just about see it this pic.

All the other details can be found on my blog.

So there we are all done - I hope that you like this card and thanks for stopping by today.

See you next Thursday and huggiest of hugs,

Dawny xx

Saturday Birthday Party

Hello everyone it's Ann-Marie popping in today to share some inspiration with you all and for my share this week I have made a card using the gorgeous Little Darlings Saturated Canary image 'Saturday Birthday Party'.  I chose the beautiful Bo Bunny 'Isabella' papers to work with which is where I got my colour scheme from and I think pink and grey may just be a new fave colour combination for me I really like it.  I decided to have a bit of a softer look to the image this time too so stamped it up using Memento 'London Fog' instead of the usual Tuxedo Black and coloured her up with my copic markers.

I didn't want to add too many embellishments as I always seem to cover up all the gorgeous paper so this time just opted for a little ribbon and a couple of flowers which were made using Cheery Lynn 'Gardenia Strip' and I love this die so much the flowers look so effective.

A bit of a close up of the image - isn't she adorable.

Friendship is the Greatest Gift

Morning folks, it's Linda here with a super quick one from me as I'm running late and scheduling this quick before getting to bed.

I'm not quite sure if I like this or not yet, the jury is still out on this one, I was suffering terribly with my asthma today (yesterday when this goes live) and really had no mojo at all, but I really wanted to use these lovely non traditional colours Xmas papers from Whimsy and now I've photographed them the colours of the papers are not showing well at all! What looks in the pics like a soft beige/nude is actually a lovely pink *sigh*.

Love this image by Sylvia Zet, all her stamps for Whimsy are soooooooooooo cute!  I coloured this pair in my Inktense pencils to match the colours of the paper (even if the colours of the paper aren't showing too well in the pics).

I distressed the paper edges and inked them with Walnut Stain distress ink. I used some Bazill Kraft to mount my layers and for the sentiment and snowflakes, for a little contrast to the brights. The sentiment is from an Impression Obsession set. This set is so useful, it has a sentiment for almost every occasion!

Love this parrot green ruffled ribbon (sadly I think Tracy is out of stock of this now) it matched perfectly with a length of ribbon I had left in my stash

That's it from me today, sorry the pics are a bit naff it was very late by the time I took them.

See you next week! : ) x x

'Tote'lly Maja gift bag

Good morning everyone and a very happy Wednesday to you.  Well it's mid week time again so it's
Ann-Marie popping in today to share a little something creative with you.  It's my mum's birthday in a few weeks so I have made a little Tote gift bag to fill with goodies for her.

I used the divine Maja Design papers 'Coffee in the Arbour - Rose garden' to make my bag and as this gorgeous paper is double sided I have the added bonus of having a fab lining to the inside of my bag too!  I wanted to add a focal point so used Nellie's Multi Frames hearts to die cut a couple of mats and then made a gorgeous flower with a Cheery Lynn Gardenia Strip die.  I so love the end result and just added a pearl in the centre to finish it off, a string of pearls and some ribbon as the handles and one real easy tote gift bag all ready to fill.

Okay time for me to go but I hope I have provided just a little inspiration.  Thank you for stopping by and enjoy your Wednesday folks.

Take care.

Glass Slipper

Morning!! Linda here with my regular inspiration post.  It's shaping up to be a long, busy and stressful week, but there was nothing stressful about making this card with the beautiful new Pion collection 'My Precious Daughter'.....or at least there wasn't until I'd finished colouring my image, added some liquid pearls to her necklace, and then promptly smudged it across he face, and hair..and then made matters worse trying to fix it.
In the end I really couldn't face colouring her all in again, so I re-stamped and coloured the damaged parts, and paper pieced them on to the original, if you look closely you can see where, but it doesn't look too bad.

I have to say I'm totally in love with these papers, gorgeous colours and fabulous designs, I really enjoyed using them. I distressed and inked the edges with DI in Walnut Stain and sewed all the layers with pink top stitch thread.

The image is called Glass Slipper and she's coloured in Copics, you can find the colours along with some more photos an my blog.

I used a lovely Crown border die from MFT as I thought it went well with the theme and the motifs on the paper.  The sparkly dots and by Prima and are called 'Princess'.

The inside is decorated with some more paper from the collection. The sentiment and matching die are from Whimsy.

Pion papers....stroke only.....!!!

Morning everyone!!!

I bet you all sigh when you get to monday and you know its Lou posting day!!! but oooooh I had so much fun making my DT make for today!!

I had some very extremely stroke only Pion Designs papers to use ( link up under the first photo) and the 12x12 sheet of deliciousness was way too gorgeous to just plomp on a card Lou style I decided I just had to go for something more oh la la!!!

I used a shoe cutfile I have had for a while and went for it. I am not sure I have ever been so careful with a piece of cardstock as I was with this one! I did the entire shoe and all its decoration with one sheet and had enough left over to make a matching tag!! go me!!!

The little pearly stamens and the brown organza ribbon are from my Lou stasheroo. Here's the back of the shoe...
And here's underneath. I used my sil DE software to make the age look like a continental shoe size and the name look like a shoe designer!! lol!! daft Lou!!!
Thank you for popping in!!

Colourful Party Balloons

Good Morning Everyone

For my card today I have had lots of fun playing with some wonderful new ink pads.

I have used the MFT Party Balloons stamp set. The yellow and pink balloons I stamped using some Hero Art Shadow Inks. These inks are really great for solid images, the coverage is fabulous and the colours are gorgeous. For the purple balloon I used a MFT Hybrid Ink pad, again this stamped beautifully.
The starry background was created with the same ink using a Memory Box Stencil.
The fabulous folded sentiment banner is a La-La Land die and the gorgeous Bubblegum coloured card was cut to size using a die from Die-Namics Blueprints 13.

Vintagey Criss Cross

Hello everyone and wishing you a very happy Wednesday folks.  Well with it being the half way mark that means it's my turn, Ann-Marie, to share some Dies to Die for love with you all.

Okay so today I have a vintage theme criss cross card to share with you and to do vintage I just had to use some Pion Design papers.  Well I am officially in love folks with these 'My Precious Daughter' papers they are stunning peeps and I've never had a sheet of these images before but boy oh boy these will not be my last they're just perfect for making up vintagey style cards.  So what did I do well I set about choosing an image to use which took me an age because I love them all and then cut it out and inked up the edges with some Walnut Stain distress ink.  I used the fabulous Cheery Lynn 'Victorian Flourish' die which is just perfect for the look and compliments the image beautifully.  Again I inked around all the edges with some Walnut Stain and I also used the same flourish die for the pull out section but I just turned it on it's side.

Okay folks that's all from me today.  Thank you for stopping by and I hope enjoy the rest of your day.

Silver Fairy in Violet and Rose

Happy Tuesday Stampers! DT Linda here again with my regular Tuesday inspiration post, and today I'm using another of the wonderfully talented Sylvia Zet's images.  Just love her work the stamps are sooo sweet.  If you follow me on Facebook you've probably seen me share this image when I first coloured it whilst at my parents and when I chose the colours I actually had the new Pion papers in mind.  However I wasn't sure they were going to arrive in time for my make and so I went ahead and made the card up with another Pion collection....and then guess what?  Yup, those new Pion papers arrived with the postie on Saturday.  Oh well, at least I have them all ready for my next make.

This is my finished card, I used Silver Fairy, from Whimsy Stamps and the corner lace die is also made by Whimsy.  The shape is made with a Martha Stewart PATP punch set. I edged all the papers with DI in Dusty Concord.

She's coloured with my Inktense pencils plus a few watercolour pencils for the skin and hair. You can find the colours on my blog.

I finished off with this lovely bead trim and a La-La Land butterfly die.

I used more papers from the same collection to decorate the inside and give a space to write a message.
