Little Winged Friends - Valentine

Good morning folks wishing a very happy Wednesday to you all.  Well with it being a Wednesday it means its my turn to share a little craftiness with you and this time I'm in Valentine's mode as it really isn't that far off.  Anyway, I used the gorgeous Bildmalarna Little Winged Friends 'Valentine' as my inspiration along with the divine papers that are Maya Design Vintage Summer Basics for my colour direction and decided to make a little hanging heart.

The main heart is cut by hand from a piece of mount board and then covered in the yummy paper and I only used one sheet but as its double sided I used both sides.  All the edges have been inked with Tim Holtz Distress Ink.  A doily and a couple more die cut hearts, a few flowers and voila one little hanging all ready to gift to someone.

A little close up of the sweet image.

Geekin' It Journal

Good Morning you crafty lot! It's DT Linda here so it must be a Tuesday.  I'm here with my inspiration post and it's quite a simple one for me, I needed to whip up something quick as it's my other half's birthday today so I'm quite short on spare time this week.  I decided that for once I'd make something for me, so I decorated a diary that I'm using to keep track of all my DT work. Links to items in the store are at the end of the post as usual.

I used the oh so Gorgeous Crea Diem collection from Maja Design for this, it's double sided so you only need the one sheet. As this was an object that is going to be in use on a daily basis,  I tried to keep embellishments to a minimum, not easy for me if your know my work! lol

The stamp I used is called Geekin' It, a Saturated Canary design from Little Darlings Rubber Stamps.  I did take liberties with her and lopped the apple off of the top of her head, as I wanted the bookish look but didn't want it to look like a 'back to school' project. As this is staying with me at home, I did pop her up on some very tiny foam squares, but if it was for a gift I'd probably keep everything flat and give it all a protective coat in case it was going in a bag.

Well that's all from me today, I hope you enjoyed my simple share and that it inspired you to try something yourself. See you soon! :) xx

Bloom Beautifully

Hello there, Michelle here sharing a card I have made using the very cute Tiddly Inks Bloom Beautifully stamp. I have stamped her with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then coloured her with markers. She has been added to a card base made from Bazill Kraft CS with a small strip of paper from the MME Sky's The Limit paper pad. I have stamped the sentiment from the CC Designs Amy R Many Thanks stamp set on to some white CS and then cut out using an MFT Sentiment Strips Die-Namics. I have finished the card off with a couple of MME Enamel Dots.

I scream, you scream ........

.... we all scream for Ice Cream!!!

Good morning folks, how are we all on this Wednesday, good I hope.  Its Ann-Marie here just popping in to brighten your day with a little Stamping Bella goodness.  This image is uptown girl 'Isabelle loves her Ice Cream' and isn't she fab (ha ha get the pun I love Fab ice creams too!) and she comes with that lovely sentiment also.

I decided to 3'd the skirt part of her dress as I imagined it having layers of petticoats underneath.  I then matted her onto some Bazzill card stock 'Artesian Pool' and then onto a larger mat of Bazzill 'Tropical' and these are gorgeous vibrant colours.  I didn't want to use lots of flowers and embellies as I wanted her as the main focal point so just die cut a couple of flowers from 'Lavender' and 'Peacock' felt and layered them up, added a strip of ribbon and she was complete.

Items Used

Card stock:  Bazzill 'Artesian Pool' and 'Tropical'
Felt:  'Lavender' and 'Peacock'

Okay time for me to go, thank you for dropping in and have a great Wednesday.

Take care,

Alva Roses

Happy Tuesday folks, DT Linda here with my inspiration post for today.  I'm in super early to work as we have a horrendously busy schedule, I shall be shattered come home time I think!

I had a play with one of the new range from Bildmalarna 'Alva'  . These are a bit like grown up versions of the Mimosa stamps I think, anyway they are all gorgeous (Tracy has the full range in stock) and I found it VERY hard to choose just one.  But in the end I settled for this one, Alva Roses.

Isn't she gorgeous?  Links to products are listed at the bottom of my post and will take you straight to the item in the store.

I used some fab papers from Inkidoo, the good news is that they're on sale!

I didn't put too many embellishments on my card, because the butterfly dies are so stunning they don't need much else.
I cut the border into pieces so that I could place it around my frame.

Well that's it for me today, hope you like it. Have a lovely crafty time, and spare a thought for me today rushing all over :)
